Dear Table Tennis Enthusiasts, Friends, Companions and Visitors!

It is with great pleasure that we introduce the 2021 ITTF PWTTC website, which includes the registration, a media section and the player's profiles.

There would be no ITTF Parkinson's Table Tennis World Championships without the pioneering work of Nenad Bach, who turned table tennis and Parkinson's into PingPongParkinson and a movement that is flourishing wonderfully in many countries around the world. For this, Nenad deserves our great thanks and respect, and we am honored to carry the baton from him. Likewise, there would be no official ITTF World Championships for people with Parkinson's without the courage and passion of Leandro Olvech, who helped birth the idea of a World Championship and has tirelessly supported it on behalf of the ITTF Foundation ever since.

Despite of COVID-19 we strongly believe that the World Championships in Berlin from 09 - 11 September, as well as the Opening Ceremony on 08 September 2021, can take place. But we expect that the responsible authorities will impose strict conditions, such as vaccination of all participants. All players should therefore take the precaution of ensuring their own and their accompanying persons' vaccination.

And do not forget, on the weekend before the World Championship the PingPongParkinson German Open will take place in Nordhorn. It can be combined wonderfully with the 2021 ITTF PWTTC.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Berlin!
